Kalighat, April 9: In a swift and efficient operation carried out on 09/0/2024, the Kalighat Police once again successfully confiscated a significant quantity of illicit liquor at Talbagan forest. Acting promptly on a tip, SI Ashok Kumar Baghel, SHO, PS Kalighat formed a specialized team consisting of PCs Sushil Sarkar and Ranjit Biswas. The proactive team successfully seized a significant quantity of 700 liters of Lehan, along with other bhatti materials used in the production process. These materials were discreetly hidden within the jungle. Subsequently, all confiscated items were promptly destroyed, dealing a major blow to the illegal liquor manufacturing network.

Aadhaar Card, MNREGA Job Card, Passbooks with photograph issued by Bank/Post Office, Health Insurance Smart Card Issued under the scheme of Ministry of Labour, Driving License, PAN Card, Smart Card issued by RGI under NPR, Indian Passport, Pension document with photograph, Service Identity Cards with Photograph issued to employees by Central /State Govt./PSUs/Public Limited Companies, Official Identity Cards issued to MPs/MLAs/MLCs, and Unique Disability ID (UDID) Card, M/o Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
