ANTCC President Shri. Rangalal Halder has condoled the demise of Mr. Nepal Biswas (age 40), resident of Minibay (Ward no. 16) who breathed his last on Tuesday 4:10 am at G.B Pant Hospital. He prayed to the Almighty for the strength and perseverance of all bereaved family members to get through this difficult time of irreparable loss.

Port Blair, Jan 4: Due to technical snag the vessel MV Mus has been withdrawn from the vehicle ferry service for rectification of its defects. However, all efforts are being made by this Directorate to rectify the defects and restore normalcy. Till such time, the commuters are requested to cooperate with this Directorate. Inconvenience caused to the general public is deeply regretted.

Port Blair, Jan. 4: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 397 passengers who arrived here yesterday, 12 positive cases have been detected. Today, 2132 passengers arrived by flight, out of which, 1726 were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 406 passengers and the reports are awaited. About 25 positive cases were found during the test conducted yesterday.

Port Blair, Jan 4: The Directorate of Shipping Services in consultation with the District Administration has scheduled the sailing programme of the vessel MV Bharat Seema for Diglipur via Mayabunder on 08.01.2022 (Sat) at 1700 Hrs from Haddo Wharf. The vessel will sail back to Port Blair on 09.01.2022 (Sun) at 1400 Hrs from Diglipur via Mayabunder.

Port Blair, Jan. 4: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 5,98,638 beneficiaries have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. A total of 3641 people were vaccinated today.
