Port Blair, July 13: In a significant step towards empowering individuals with disabilities, the Composite Regional Centre (CRC), A&N Islands distributed Aids and Appliances under ADIP Scheme (Scheme of Assistance to Persons with Disabilities for Purchase/Fitting of Aids /Appliances) at Abbhyuday Complex for Children, Children with Disabilities and Old age in Ferrargunj under the Directorate of Social Welfare, aiming to enhance the quality of life for the inmates.

Port Blair, July 14: In a significant move towards realizing the vision of Digital India Mission and to shift towards a 100% cashless bill payment system, the Electricity Department, A&N Administration shall discontinue collection of energy bill payments at the Site Offices and Common Service Centres (CSC) for the consumers of entire South Andaman District in the first phase w.e.f. 01.08.2024.
