Port Blair, Sept. 9: Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya has invited application for admission to MA Bengali. Submission of application through offline mode will begin from Sept. 10 and continue up to Sept.13, 2024. Provisional merit list will be displayed on Sept.18, 2024. Claim and objection, if any, may submit on Sept.19, 2024. Final merit list will be displayed on Sept.20 and Counselling will be held on Sept.21. Diglipur, Sept. 8: In an initiative to promote road safety and traffic education among children, the ‘Traffic Gyan’ Abhiyan was launched by North & Middle Andaman district Police at the newly inaugurated Children's Traffic Park in Diglipur. This innovative program aims to provide students with essential traffic-related lessons through interactive and fun-filled activities.
Under this initiative, students from various schools will visit the park to gain a deeper understanding of road safety in a hands-on manner. The park replicates real-life traffic situations, allowing children to practice and learn through mock driving or cycling exercises. The goal is to create a safe, engaging environment where students can absorb important safety lessons while having fun.
