Port Blair, April 27: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to issue necessary directions to the concerned nodal departments for daily supply of water instead of alternative day in view of increase of water level at Dhanikhari Dam and also rain fall which has started.

Port Blair, April 27: The health teams designated in various vaccination centres spread across the Islands are vaccinating all the beneficiaries above 45+ of age who visit the centres on a daily basis. The vaccination sessions are continuing in more than 88 designated vaccination centres set up in different parts of the Islands towards the fight against Corona virus. 1433 doses of vaccines were administered to the eligible beneficiaries by the health teams today (April, 27), taking the total number of doses of vaccines administered so far to 1,04,198.
