Passenger tickets for Swaraj Dweep will be issued at Haddo Wharf 02 hours prior to her scheduled departure following latest COVID 19 SOP in effect.

Port Blair, Oct. 7: A total of 4,52,904 doses of vaccines have been administered so far in A&N Islands out of the target beneficiaries of 2, 81, 603 (approx.). A total of 1,70,811 eligible people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated till date. A total of 1911 people were vaccinated today in A&N Islands.

Port Blair, Oct. 6: As a part of Union Territory wide stir, the Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) along with other outfits on Wednesday staged massive demonstrations at all three districts on a 27-point charter of demands. The protest was organized under the leadership of ANTCC President, Shri. Rangalal Halder with the guidance of Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma and with active support of ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman, Shri. G. Bhasker. The demonstration was targeted against the anti-people policies of the Central Government and the failure of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands’ Administration for its wrong doings. The demonstration was staged in spite of the A&N Administration not giving permission stating the pandemic situation.
