Port Blair, Nov. 14: On the occasion of Children’s Day on 14^th November 2021, the Andaman Nicobar Chess Association organised a State level Junior & Sub Junior (Open & Girls) Chess Championship 2021, sponsored by Non-IATA Airline Agents (Port Blair) at Hotel TSG Emerald, Phoenix Bay, Port Blair.

In the event, more than 90 participants took part in various categories of the game. Shri. R K Singh, State Project Officer, Samgara Siksha, Department of Education, Andaman & Nicobar Administration was the chief guest in the inaugural ceremony, who had made the first Move on the top board to kick start the event.

Port Blair, Nov. 14: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) organized a function on Sunday at Gandhi Bhawan to commemorate the 132^nd birth anniversary of Former Prime Minister of India Pandit. Jawaharlal Nehru. At the outset, the ANTCC President Shri. Rangalal Halder and other senior leaders of Congress party paid rich floral tributes to the portrait of Pandit. Nehru.

Port Blair, Nov. 14: To mark the Celebration of Children’s Day, Kesaria Hindu Vahini celebrated this Children’s Day highlighting the supreme sacrifice of the children of Guru Gobind Singh, namely Baba Ajit Singh, Baba Jujhar Singh, Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh.
