Port Blair, Jan 30: The 40^th Death Anniversary of veteran trade union leader PKS Prasad was observed on 29.01.2023 jointly by Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association and CITU. The main function was held at Crusade House, Phoenix Bay where wreaths were laid on the Memorial Column of late PKS Prasad on behalf of various trade unions, CITU, Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association, etc. which was followed by a commemorative meeting.

Port Blair, Jan 30: ICAR-CIARI organized two training programmes on ‘Improved tuber crops cultivation practices and regenerative agricultural practices for the benefit of farmers from North & Middle Andaman district in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra- Nimbudera under All India Coordinated Research Project on Tuber Crops on 24^th and 25^th January 2023 at Pahalgaon in Mayabunder zone and Dharmapur villages of Shivpuram panchayat. A total of about 50 farmers attended the two training programmes and participated in the interactive sessions.
