Port Blair, Aug. 18: The Chief Secretary, A & N Administration, Shri Keshav Chandra, IAS has launched 10 additional G2C (Government to Citizen) (https://edistrict.andaman.gov.in) services today for three Departments viz., Revenue, Social Welfare and Art & Culture in the presence of Secretary (Revenue), Secretary (IT), Special Secretary (IT) and Executive Officer, SOVTECH.

I extended my heartfelt greetings to all Islanders of Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Janmashtami.

Maheswar Rao, Governing Body Member of National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) – Hyderabad, Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India, Representative from A&N Islands has proceeded at NASC Complex, Pusa, New Delhi to attend the 9th Annual Meeting of Governing Body of NFDB on 18.08.2022 chaired by Union Minister of Fisheries & Animal Husbandry & Dairying Shri. Purushotham Rupala, Minister of State Fisheries & Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Shri. Dr.L Murugan, Minister of state Fisheries & Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Dr. Sanjeev Balyan all concerned Ministries of each State and Secretaries and Non-Official members of Governing Body of NFBD wherein discussion on several developmental working projects were held.

Mr. Rakeshwar Lall, State President (HRS), Shri Bishnu Pada Ray (EX-MP) and all HRS family of Andaman & Nicobar Islands have extended their greetings and good wishes to all the Islanders on the occasion of Janmashtami, which is the joyful celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth who spread the message of love and compassion of oneness. Port Blair, Aug 18: Government of India has taken an initiative to mass mobilise a campaign during August 2022 to September 2022 to coincide with the International Coastal Clean-up Day (September 17, 2022). Various activities under this campaign are coordinated by the Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India.  As a part of the celebration of International Coastal Cleanup Day, the Vigyan Prasar (VP), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India is proposes organising a one-day event to highlight the idea of a ‘Clean coast, Safe sea’ in Zoological Survey of India, Port Blair.
