Swadesh Nagar, Feb. 1: The Annual Athletic Meet of PM SHRI Govt. Senior Secondary School Swadesh Nagar, N&M Andaman was held yesterday. The Meet was declared open by Dr. Damodaran, Senior Scientist, KVK, Nimbudera. The meet torch was lit by the chief guest. Earlier, in his welcome address, Shri. Saleem Kerketta, Vice-Principal highlighted the events of the academic year. Shri Deborata Das, Pradhan Gram Panchayat, Swadesh Nagar was the chief guest of the closing ceremony and gave away the prizes to the winners. In his address, the chief guest stressed the importance of games and sports. At the concluding session, the students presented a brief cultural programme and theme based drills and aerobics.
