Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 13: The District Child Protection Unit under the District Administration, South Andaman organised two-day’s program on “Pariksha Pe Charcha” on 10th and 11th January 2025 at Balika Niketan, Attam Pahar and Seva Niketan, Dairy Farm respectively for the children of various Child Care Institutions of South Andaman studying in class 10th and 12th and appearing for the Board exams during the current academic year. The aim of the program was to help the children to overcome their stress for examination and to provide guidance on effective preparation and to celebrate the examination.

New Delhi, Jan 13: Baakprotima, the only PRGI registered Bengali Little Magazine published from Andaman and Nicobar Islands celebrated its Silver Jubilee in New Delhi on Saturday, the 11th January 2025 through a get together held in the premises of Chittaranjan Bhavan, CR Park. A group of local Bengali writers attended the programme. Shri Mrinal Maity, a column writer from Purba Medinipur and Smt. Mousumi Roy, Social Activist from Kolkata graced the occasion as Special Guests.

Dr. Rohindra Lal President of A & N Islands Private Practicing Doctors Association inaugurated the Audiometry unit which is first of its kind in A & N Islands.
