Port Blair, July 7: The general public of this UT have been informed that the Directorate of Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Port Blair is organizing Special Camps in Panchayat and Municipal area exclusively for those labourers only who have been registered on e-Shram portal of the Labour Department. No other application related to ration card shall be entertained during the camp. For other ration card related work, general public may approach the nearest Common Service Centre.

Port Blair, July 7: Andaman & Nicobar Administration has revised Minimum Wages across Andaman & Nicobar Islands w.e.f 01st July 2023. The latest rates are:-
Unskilled: Rs. 538/-, Semi-Skilled/unskilled supervisory: Rs. 595/-, Skilled/Clerical: Rs. 680/-, Highly Skilled: Rs. 738/-

Port Blair, July 7: The vessel Nalanda will sail from Port Blair to Chennai via Little Andaman, Nancowry and Campbell Bay on July 8, 2023 at 1000 hrs. Embarkation of passengers will commence from 0800 hrs on July 8. The embarkation of passengers will be closed one hour before the schedule time. Passengers reporting late will not be allowed to board the vessel.
The vessel will sail only after completion of survey procedure which will commence on completion of embarkation of passengers for issuance of ‘B’ Certificate as per MS Act.
