Port Blair, Aug 25: The Directorate of Information, Publicity & Tourism, A&N Administration has prepared the draft Beach Shack Policy, Caravan Policy and Bird Watching Policy with an objective to promote responsible tourism and sustainable development along the pristine beaches of these Islands. All the policies have been placed in the public domain, seeking suggestions comments/ inputs from general public, tourism stakeholders and various Departments etc.

Port Blair, Aug 25: To facilitate the commuters of Katchal Island, the announced sailing schedule of the vessel Sindhu for Campbell Bay via Nancowry on 29.08.2023 has been revised. Now, the vessel Sindhu will sail for Campbell Bay via Katchal & Nancowry on 29.08.2023 at 1000 hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail back to Port Blair on 31.08.2023 at 0900 hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry.

Port Blair, Aug 25: All concerned candidates who have applied for allotment of various Professional/Technical/Non-Technical courses reserved at mainland institutions for the academic session 2022-23 have been informed that the counselling for the surrendered seats i.e. BDS-1 seat, B.Sc B.Ed-1 seat, B.E (Computer Science) Lateral Entry-1 seat and MBA (Business Administration)-1 seat will be held on 30.08.2023 at 3.30 pm in the Conference Hall of Secretariat, Port Blair.
