Port Blair, Dec. 30: Kaja Moideen, a ladies tailor by profession located at Aberdeen Bazaar, is one of the satisfied recipients of Self Employment Loan under DAY-NULM scheme in Port Blair. Moideen has been running a small rented tailoring shop for past 15 years all by himself.

Port Blair, Dec. 29: In order to curb illegal sale of narcotics drugs in these Islands, South Andaman District Police has shown diligent efforts to send drug peddlers behind the bars. The team of Police Station Aberdeen has seized 678 grams of ‘Methamphetamine’, an illicit drug and arrested the accused.
