Port Blair, July 27: The Directorate of Shipping Services is pleased to announce the resumption of daily passenger service to Swaraj Dweep at 1700 Hrs from Port Blair and return voyage next day at 0600 Hrs from Swaraj Dweep with effect from 01.08.2023. The above service was temporarily discontinued due to shortage of operational vessels, the same has now been successfully addressed. Both Local residents and tourists may avail the above service from 1st August, 2023 onwards.

Port Blair, July 25: The team of Police Station Ograbraj has busted a Narcotics trafficking module in the area that was targeting students in the South Andaman district. In a raid conducted on 16/07/2023 two accused persons were booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 with a recovery of 225 grams of illicit Ganja.
