Port Blair, June 27: With reference to the Vacancy notice Vide No. MT/18-7/Estt./Recruitment/2023 published by Transport Department for filling up of Group-B (NG) posts in Transport, Police & Shipping Departments of A&N Administration, the written test of qualified candidates in Physical Measurement and Endurance Test will be held at Port Blair, A&N Islands on 30.06.2023. The list of eligible candidates for written test for the post of Sub-Inspector (PMT) will be uploaded on A&N Police website and also displayed on the notice board of PHQ, Port Blair on June 28.

Abdul Kader R/o Mayabunder who passed away on 26.06.2023 at Swaraj Dweep. He prayed to the Almighty to give eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Mayabunder, June 26: The North & Middle Andaman District Police has made a first-of-its-kind effort by introducing "HUNAR" a creative and innovative project, to involve Andaman youth in skill development courses in an effort to reduce victimization and their engagement in criminal activities. The program was flagged off under the able guidance and leadership of Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, Superintendent of Police, North & Middle Andaman District and under the banner of Community Policing Initiative.
