Little Andaman, March 9: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma inaugurated a 12.5 acre grazing land in Netaji Nagar on March 6, 2023. This initiative is the first of its kind in the area and aims to provide adequate open space for dairy farmers to graze their cattle.

Kuldeep Rai Sharma also addressed the gathering and expressed his appreciation for the initiative. He stated, "It is a pleasure to inaugurate the 12.5 acre grazing land for the dairy farmers of Netaji Nagar. This initiative will provide a great opportunity for the local farmers to expand their operations and contribute to the economic development of the region."

Port Blair, March 9: Ms Veditha Reddy, IAS, Secretary, RD & PRI & Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman along with Additional District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Assistant Commissioner (UTs) visited and interacted in the hamlets of Ranchi /Chota Nagpuri communities and PRIs in the Gram Panchayats of Tusnabad, Mithakhari, Namunaghar.

During the visit, the general public raised various issues related to scarcity of Water at Gram Panchayat Tushnabad, Issue of NOC for important development Projects, non-availability of LPG Cylinder and delivery of cylinder at late night in the villages, renovation of Community Hall etc.

The shop was opened in response to the request of the local people who faced difficulties in accessing rations due to the need to travel long distances.
