Programme Manager, DHS(SA), Private Physicians & large gathering of pregnant women. 

Little Andaman, March 9: On March 6th, 2023, the Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma inaugurated a Community Hall in Netaji Nagar, Little Andaman. The hall has been constructed under the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADs) at a cost of Rs. 58 Lakhs.

Port Blair, March 9: As part of the campaign for the Mazdoor Kisan Sangharsh Rally on 5th April, 2023 in Delhi, the CITU A&N State Committee organized a Trade Union Convention on 5th March 2023 at Port Blair. Addressing the Convention, B. Chandrachoodan, General Secretary, CITU State Committee said that conventions, rallies, corner meetings and other forms of campaign are being carried out throughout the country by workers and farmers on the Sangharsh Rally in Delhi. In Andaman & Nicobar Islands also, CITU has already started campaign by organizing various programmes. He criticized the BJP-led central government for pursuing various anti-working class and anti–kisan policies during the past 9 years. D Ayyappan, Vice President, CITU A & N State Committee briefly explained each of the 14 demands on which the workers and farmers are organizing the Mazdoor Kisan Sangharsh Rally in Delhi on 5th April, 2023.

In a yet another historical milestone, one more male bastion in the Andaman Islands was broken today when Ms. Eileen, a young lady from Middle Andaman was appointed as a Deck Utility Hand onboard DSS vessel.
