Port Blair, Feb 14: The last date for submitting filled-in application for Transmission Assignee’s (Hindi, Nicobari, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam & Bangla languages), Comperes in Hindi (Kisanvani, Mahila Jagat, Bal Jagat) and Comperes for Hindi Yuvavani in All India Radio, Port Blair is 20th Feb 2023.

It is brought to the notice of the electricity consumers and general public that urgent breakdown maintenance of breakers installed at Bambooflat Sub-Station will be carried out on 16.02.2023 (Thursday). Due to maintenance of breakers the power supply will remain suspended at following area on 16.02.2023 from 0900 Hrs. to 1100 Hrs :

Port Blair, Feb 14: A firing practice will be carried out at Police Firing Range, Prothrapur by Gazetted Officers of A&N Police from Feb. 18 from 6 am to 12 noon. All concerned have been asked to keep themselves and their cattle away from the firing range during the above mentioned date & time.

Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, Andaman Nicobar Islands has deeply mourned the sad demise of Smti. Sushila Mandal W/o Late Hari Lall, Senior Congress Party leader and Ex-Pradhan of Wandoor Gram Panchayat R/o Wandoor who passed away on 13.02.2023.  He prayed to the Almighty to give eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Port Blair, Feb 13: Raising his points in Parliament on the General Budget for the year 2023-24 on Friday, the Member of Parliament of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma noted that the budget allocated for Andaman & Nicobar Islands is a marginal increase of Rs. 280 Crore from Rs. 5,703.65 crore in 2022-23 to Rs. 5,987 Crore this year.
