Port Blair, Dec. 20: Notification of Revamped Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) in Andaman & Nicobar Islands for Rabi-2022-23 season was circulated in which, details of notified area, coverage of risk, indemnity level, sum insured, premium rate, seasonality discipline, subsidy on premium etc. in respect of this UT were mentioned in the Notification dated 3rd June, 2021 and was uploaded in Andaman & Nicobar Administration website: www.andaman.gov.in for Kharif 2021 & Rabi 2022-23.

Port Blair, Dec. 20: Firing practice by IN Dornier will be carried out on 2m Rock near Passage Island on Dec. 20 - 23, 2022 from 1500 -1700 hrs. The safe flying height is above 300 mtr AMSL. Similarly, firing practice by IN Dornier will also be carried out on 2m Rock near Passage Island on Dec. 20-23, 2022 from 0700-1500 hrs. The safe flying height is 5000 feet AMSL.

Port Blair, Dec. 20: The road portion from Teal House Jn. to Chatham Foreshore Road will be closed for all the vehicular movement for 10 days w.e.f. 21.12.2022. Hence, all the vehicles will be diverted through Haddo and Chatham Road.

Port Blair, Dec. 20: Due to technical reasons, the scheduled sailing programme of the vessel MV Campbell Bay for Little Andaman on Dec. 21 & 23, 2022 from Port Blair and her return voyage from Little Andaman has been postponed till further notice. However, fresh date of sailing of the vessel will be announced in due course, a press release from DSS said.
