Port Blair, March 31: The Member of Parliament, A&N Islands, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Secretary (Education), A&N Administration to examine the matter for possibility of declaring Govt. Secondary School, Paschimsagar as examination centre for Class X studentsfor the academic session 2020-21. This will facilitate the students for attending examination without any hardships, he said.

Port Blair, March 31: The passengers/general public are hereby informed that due to cyclonic weather conditions, and keeping in view of the safety of the passengers and the vessel, this Directorate is forced to suspend the following announced schedule in respect of the Foreshore/Inter Island Sector vessels. However, fresh date of sailing of the vessels will be announced depending upon the favourable weather conditions. Kuldeep Briefs Shipping Minister Mansukh Mandaviya

Port Blair, March 30: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament had a meeting with the Hon'ble Minister of State for Shipping (Independent Charge) Shri Mansukh L. Mandaviya at Raj Niwas on 29.03.2021 who was on three days official tour to Andaman & Nicobar Islands.  Referring to shipping as lifeline for these Islands, the MP emphasized that the geographical and locational advantage of the archipelago of the A&N Islands can certainly play major role in making these Islands socio economically self-sustainable if need based projects capable of generating employment are taken up by Central Government.
