Endless Queues Continue in Port Blair’s Petrol Bunks With People Not Willing to Understand
Report: Sarpreet Kaur
Port Blair, March 17: Nowadays cross any petrol pump in Port Blair and you will be welcomed by a Kilometer long Beeline of two-wheelers and four-wheelers alike. This congested scene is not something born out of necessity or an economic calamity, just a rumour and that was it. The gullible residents of our islands let a simple rumour with unknown origin sit heavy on them as well as administration. Since then, it’s been two days and the petrol pump staffs haven’t got even a single moment to take a calm breath. These disturbingly long lines are seen from as early as 6:00 in the morning to 8:30 till evening.
