Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 6: As part of the Andaman and Nicobar Command’s (ANC) 24th raising day celebrations and initiative towards mental wellbeing, a guest lecture on “What Ails the Married Life” was organised by Medical Division OF ANC on 04 Oct 24 at Likabali and on 05 Oct at Dweepika Auditorium. The guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Harish Shetty an eminent psychiatrist and social worker. The event encouraged the personnel and families of ANC to imbibe / learn valuable strategies for enhancing emotional intimacy, resolving conflicts and fostering healthier relationship. The event was graced by Air Marshal Saju Balakrishnan, AVSM, VM, Commander-in-Chief, Andaman and Nicobar Command (CINCAN) alongwith Mrs Latha Saju, Regional President DWWA.

Bambooflat, Oct. 6: The 2nd edition of Bambooflat Open Chess Tournament was successfully organized by VPM Trust in collaboration with the Andaman Nicobar Chess Association in association (ANCA) today (06.10.2024) at VPM hall, Bambooflat, S Andaman.
Tournament was inaugurated by M. MOAHAMMED YOUSUF, Prop. Jazeera Resort, who made the first ceremonial move on the top board.
