Port Blair, June 14: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, has requested the Hon’ble Lt. Governor to implement the order of Government of India vide Office Memorandum No. 23(4)/E.coord/2020/1 dated 8th June 2021 regarding the payment of the wages to contractual, casual and outsources persons attached to Ministries/Department during the 2nd wave of COVID-19 and to direct all the departments and organizations under A&N Administration to immediately pay the wages to contractual, casual and outsources persons.

Port Blair, June 14: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament and President PCC ANI, along with Shri K Ganeshan, former chairperson, PBMC and team today visited the Dairy Farm Community Hall, near Sree Ganesh Temple. The MP met the sanitary workers of Port Blair Municipal Council at Ward No 09 & 14 and distributed breakfast, face masks and homeopathy medicines to the sanitary staff of the Council.

Port Blair, June 14: The Superintendent of Police, Nicobar District in a communication has appealed the general public, Tribal Leaders and PRI members of Nicobar District to pass on any credible information about suspicious people who are likely to be illegal migrants/ foreigners to 100/ 112 or to the nearest Police Station. It has been assured that the informers name and address will be kept secret.

Port Blair, June 14: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, has requested the Chief Secretary to provide ship to Campbell Bay to shift the stranded residents of Campbell Bay. Due to non-availability of ship to Campbell Bay they have been stranded in Port Blair without proper place to stay, food and money to sustain the expenses.
