Port Blair, Dec. 21: In order to implement and monitor the Andaman and Nicobar Clinical Establishment (Registration and Regulation) Rules, 2013 under Clinical Establishment Act 2010, the District Registering Authority South Andaman hereby issues the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for inspection of Clinical Establishments of South Andaman District. Port Blair, Dec. 21: As part of Community Policing initiative, the Police Training School, Prothrapur in collaboration with Confidential Multispecialty Centre, Junglighat organized an “Oral and Dental Health Check-up Camp” at Austinabad Police Quarters Complex, on 20/12/2020 from 1500 hrs to 1730 hrs., to create awareness & for examination of Oral and Dental Health.

A&N Police Conducts Farewell Parade in Honour of Outgoing DGP

Port Blair, Dec. 20: In the honour of Shri.Dependra Pathak, lPS, the outgoing Director General of Police, an impeccable farewell parade, was held at Police Lines, Port Blair on 19th December 2020 at 0830 hrs. 05 platoons including Executive Police (Male), Executive Police (Female), Fire Service&lRBn, and Police Brass Band participated in the parade, which was commanded by ShriKalaivanan R. IPS, SDPOBambooflat. All Senior officers, rank and file were present in the Farewell Parade. During the function, the Covid -19 Protocols were strictly adhered to.

Port Blair, Dec. 21: It has been observed that despite several directions issued by concerned authorities, truck operators are still plying their Heavy Goods Vehicles during school hours i.e 0730 to 0830 hrs & 1400 hrs to 1500 hrs. Plying of trucks during schools has been prohibited by Deputy Commissioner vide DC notification No. F.NO.9-170/LS-10/PF-1/9732 dated 15/12/2015. It is, therefore directed that all the truck operators should adhere with above the notification else necessary action as per law will be taken.

Port Blair, Dec. 20: The training for Medical Officers for COVID19 Vaccination (COWIN) was conducted in A&N Islands on 18.12.2020. This is the first ever online training imparted to all the Medical Officers across the islands. The training was jointly organized by DHS/NHM, A&N Admn with WHO and UNDP. About 30 Medical Officers participated online at various places in these islands for one day training.
