The inaugural session was graced by Shri Hilari Erick, Secretary of the Tribal Council, Chowra Island, who was the chief guest. Students who are willing to apply for revaluation have been advised to submit an application with the details of subject along with a DD of Rs.500/- per subject in favour of Finance Officer, Pondicherry University, payable at Pondicherry to the Academic Cell by 27th Sept., 2024 (FN). No application will be entertained after the last date.

Rangat, Sept. 24: The Election Commissioner (UTs) has notified the Bye-Election for the Ward Member Constituencies of Rampur-2 of Gram Panchayat Parnashala, Rangat-10 of Gram Panchayat Rangat, and Dasarathpur-3 of Gram Panchayat Dasarathpur under Rangat Tehsil. The vacancies have arisen due to the resignation of the members from these constituencies.

The poll is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 29th September, 2024, from 0800 hrs to 1700 hrs.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 24: Passengers/general public have been informed that the vessel Nalanda will sail for Swaraj Dweep on 28.09.2024 at 0800 hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail back to Sri Vijaya Puram on the same day at 1500 hrs from Swaraj Dweep. Passenger tickets for the above sailing will be issued to the general public from Sept.25, 2024 onwards. Passengers may book their tickets from DSS e-ticketing portal (https://dss.andaman.gov.in/eticketing)/
