The Island Rumble Ride aspires to earn a spot in the World Book of Records, making it a historic event for motorcycling enthusiasts across the globe. This journey is not only about adventure but also about showcasing the stunning tourism potential of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 4: The Hon’ble Special Judge, Shri. Niyaz Alam on 26th September 2024 convicted one accused person, resident of Bimblitan Village, Port Blair, South Andaman in a sexual assault case committed by him against his minor daughter then aged about 12 years.

It is averred that on 15.06.2022 when victim girl’s mother had gone out for work, the accused locked the room and committed sexual assault upon his daughter. Meanwhile his sons who were playing outside came back and knocked the room. Being frightened with the knocking, the accused left the daughter and she apprised about the incident to her brothers and mother. Then the matter was brought to notice of PS Pahargaon who registered case against the accused person under Section 376 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) read with Section 3(b)/5(l)(n)/9(n) of POCSO Act and the investigation was taken up by IO Seema Bhomick.
