One 18 year-old from Delhi says she and her partner now sanitize their lips before kissing one another on the cheek, and then sanitize the spot again to be safe. Deepti Ghosh, a 29 – year old freelance writer from Kolkata says: “We avoid bodily contact. Sanitizers are more important than condoms and conversation has overpowered physical attraction”.

Port Blair, July 7: Continuing with its mission to serve the islanders in need, the team of ‘Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi’ distributed health kits consisting 1 kg Bounvita, 200 ml Sanitiser, Cookies, Biscuits and chocolates to children residing at Bethney Child Care, Bathubasti, Calvary Children Home, Badmashpahad and Love Children’s Home, Indra Nagar, Manglutan. A total around 110 kits were distributed on 19th June 2020.

Port Blair, July 7: In the series ‘Fight against Corona’, All India Radio Port Blair will broadcast a LIVE phone-in programme on the topic, "Effective implementation of lockdown rules". This programme will be broadcast on 08.07.2020 (Wednesday) from 0715 hrs to 0755 hrs. Deputy Commissioner (SA), Shri. Abhishek Dev, IAS will be the expert in the Studio answering the queries of the listeners on the said topic.

Port Blair, July 7: In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic situation, Indira Gandhi National Open University offers Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Management of CBRNE Disasters (PGCMDM) course among practicing Doctors. The term CBRNE stands for ‘Chemical Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive’. Disasters related to such agents can occur accidently.

Port Blair, July 6: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma visited the GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair and provided 23 numbers of Foot Dispensing Sanitizer machines. The machines were installed at various location of the GB Pant Hospital for the protection and safety of the inpatients, attendants, out patients, Medical staff and general public.
