Port Blair, March 9: The Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan has informed the Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma that the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS) has not applied for starting of Post Graduate (PG) courses for the academic year 2021-22.

Port Blair, March 9: Innerwheel Club, Port Blair in collaboration with Pankh (NGO) celebrated the International Women's Day at Chinmaya Mission Auditorium on 7th March. Ms Veditha Reddy, IAS, Secretary APWD was the guest of honour. She encouraged women to organise programs like this and emphasized on the confidence and will power of the women that has to be strong in them. “There is no substitute to hard work. Women should do what she wants to and live their life to the fullest", she said.

Port Blair, March 9: On 08.03.2021 WITH YOU (NGO) celebrated its first anniversary and International Women's Day 2021. The programe was held at RUAC Hall, Bambooflat.

Various competitions like Rangoli, Mehandi and bouquet making were conducted on the occasion. Ms Vedita Reddy, IAS Secretary (Fisheries, Agriculture, Animal hubandary and APWD) was the chief guest.
