New Delhi, Feb 3: The Education Minister, SHri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today announced the schedule of the CBSE Board Examinations for Class X & XII. Earlier, the Minister had announced the schedule of the CBSE Board Examinations and said that the examinations for Class X & XII will be held from 4th May 2021.

Port Blair, Feb. 3: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, A&N Islands to revise and fix the visiting time to Munda Pahar (Chidiyatapu) for the tourists from 7.00 AM to till sunset instead of present timing from 10.00 AM to 5.30 PM. Since tourists come from mainland after incurring huge expenses, they are not getting chance to visit Munda Pahar for seeing sunrise/sunset due to shortage of time.  If the visiting time is rescheduled as proposed, it will be much convenient for the tourists and tour operators of unemployed youths involved in the tourism industry, he said.

Port Blair, Feb. 1: The A&N Islands has achieved zero active positive case status of COVID19 today on 01.02.2021 for the third time. With the last four cases got discharged; 02 from GB Pant Hospital Port Blair and 02 from Defense hospital the active case became zero for these Islands. However, the tests for the various categories will still continue as per the protocol.

In a report collected from sources, it is learnt that one female among the Onge tribe was detected with malaria recently.

Port Blair, Feb. 1: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has provided Rs. 20,40,587/- from MPLAD fund for construction of Waiting Hall in the back side of Ortho Ward and Toilet Blocks in the back side of Female Ward within the premises of GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair. The move is to facilitate the poor inter Island patients coming from far-flung Islands, for their stay free of cost during treatment process.
