On behalf of Hon’ble Lt Governor, A&N Islands, a cheque of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) from Lt. Governor’s Relief Fund, Andaman & Nicobar Islands was donated towards the cause by Secretary to LG to the Secretary, Rajya Sainik Board.

Revised Charges to be Applicable from 7th December
Port Blair, Dec. 6: In view of the steady decrease in the number of positive cases and to make the testing charges affordable to everyone for the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT)/RTPCR being conducted on passengers who intend to proceed to inter islands, by any mode of transport (Heli/ship/ATR) will be Rs.200/- henceforth.

Port Blair, Dec. 6: With the motto of zero tolerance towards illegal sale of liquor, the District Administration is hitting hard on bootleggers in South Andaman District.
The control room of District Administration received information on 05th December 2020 regarding the illegal sale of liquor in Phoenix Bay area. On receipt of information, the Excise team of District Administration deputed team for surprise raid of the premises. Accordingly, the District Excise team seized the liquor and the manager of the shop was handed over to police for further legal action.
