Car Nicobar, April 4: A training programme on "Organic Integrated Farming System (IFS) for Livelihood Improvement" was conducted for farmers under the STC by AICRP on Integrated Farming System, in collaboration with ICAR-KVK, Car Nicobar. As part of the programme, goats and piglets were distributed to farmers at the IFS experimental field, ICAR-CIARI, Sri Vijaya Puram, Car Nicobar Islands, on 2nd and 3rd April 2025.

Sri Vijaya Puram, April 4: The general public and consumers of Electricity Department have been informed that the Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) Rules mandates that all commercial buildings with a connected load of 50 kW or above or a contract demand of 60 kVA or above must comply with the prescribed energy efficiency standards. This includes all newly constructed buildings and those undergoing additions or alterations that increase their energy demands.

Sri Vijaya Puram, April 4: The State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Sri Vijaya Puram imparted 10 days training programme on Papad, Pickle & Masala powder making to 35 women members of NRLM SHG, which commenced from 24th March, 2025 and culminated today.

Sri Vijaya Puram, April 4: The A&N Archives, Secretariat, A&N Administration has conducted two-day’s workshop-cum- training programme on 'Records Management' for the designated Departmental Records Officers of the UT Administration in association with the National Archives of India, New Delhi. Altogether, 80 Records Officers of different Departments were trained and benefited.
