Sri Vijaya Puram, March 19: ICAR-KVK N&M Andaman organized an educational exposure visit for students of Government Middle School, Padmanabhapuram, N&M Andaman to the KVK on 18th March, 2025. A total of 45 students accompanied by 6 teachers visited the KVK.  The visit aimed to provide students with insights into the functioning, structure, and contributions of the KVK to local agriculture and rural development.

Sri Vijaya Puram, March 19: Dr. S.R District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Garacharama inaugurated a transformative 5-day in-service teacher training workshop on ‘ICT Integrated Competency Based Teaching’ yesterday, aimed at empowering Primary School Teachers (PSTs) with cutting-edge digital pedagogical tools. The event, held at the DIET campus, marked a significant step toward modernizing classroom practices in alignment with national education goals. Principal, DIET, Shri Gyan Sheel Dubey was also present on the occasion.

Car Nicobar, March 19: The Extension Office, Industries Department, Car Nicobar, in collaboration with various stakeholders, conducted a series of awareness programmes on 'PM Vishwakarma' Scheme across all villages of Car Nicobar from Feb.3 to March 8, 2025. A total of 457 tribal youth and villagers participated in these programmes held across all the villages of Car Nicobar. The purpose of these awareness programmes was to enhance public outreach and provide crucial information to local tribal youths, particularly engaged in traditional Nicobari Hodi (canoe) making and mat and basket making.

The classes will be conducted for the discipline of Athletics, Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Cycling, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Kabaddi, Kho- Kho, Table Tennis, Volleyball and Aerobic dance (exclusively for girls and women).
