Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 20: APAAR, which stands for Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry, is a specialized identification system designed for all students in India. This initiative is part of the 'One Nation, One Student ID' program launched by the GoI, aligning with the new National Education Policy of 2020. For students, APAAR functions as a digital record. APAAR also empowers students to accumulate and store their academic accomplishments, facilitating seamless transitions between institutions for the pursuit of further education. The APAAR ID simplifies the processes of credit recognition and transfer right from the school level, thereby, streamlining academic progression and recognition of prior learning.

Tushnabad, Nov. 20: The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (South Andaman), celebrated International Child Rights Day in collaboration with the Gram Panchayat, Tushnabad, at Panchayat Bhavan, Tushnabad.
