Port Blair, June 11: Green Connect-a Smart City project proposed by the Port Blair Municipal Council has been planned to be developed from Joggers Park to Gandhi Park. Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament and K Ganeshan, former-Chairperson, PBMC today visited the Joggers Park-City Forest–Gandhi Park which is proposed to be developed under Smart City as ‘Green Connect’. The idea behind the visit is to understand the proposal made by the Port Blair Smart Projects Limited. The inspection team was led by Shri. Kishore Kshirsagar Lakshman, Secretary, PBMC accompanied by Shri. V. Jaya Kumar, Architect PBMC, other technical officials from PBMC, Smart City Consultant and officials of Forest Department.

Port Blair, June 11: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, and President PCC ANI, along with Shri K Ganeshan, former chairperson, PBMC and team today visited the Delanipur Community Hall Sanitary Section (Safaiwala) of Port Blair Municipal Council Ward No 03 & 08 where 130 Safaiwala Workers are registered.

Port Blair, June 11: The State General Secretary, Hindu Rastra Shakti, Dr Prasant Kr Mandaltoday spoke to Dr. Angel Bhati, Deputy Commissioner (N&M Andaman) regarding difficulties faced by the peasants of North & Middle Andaman due to the lockdown imposed. The peasants have feared to go to their fields to preparing their paddy field for seedling because of the fear of fine.
