Port Blair, July 15: The hardship faced the people of our islands due to the lockdown and unemployment has led people to starve without food for days. When families residing near KV 1 and Namunaghar approached Shri Mandeep Grewal, President, PBGKR, a team headed by Shri Gurmeet Singh, Gen. Secretary, PBGKR provided around ration kits to around 60 families.

Port Blair, July 15: The Pondicherry University examinations of Four Years Integrated Programme which were earlier scheduled on 13th, 14th and 15th July 2021 at Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair will now be held on 19th, 20th and 22nd July 2021 respectively. However, there is no change in the examinations scheduled on 16th and 17th of July 2021.

Port Blair, July 13: Today Shri Angshuman Roy, State General Secretary (Youth) and Shri Sanjay Kumar, Executive Member (R/o South Point) of Hindu Rashtra Shakti received request from Blood Bank to provide some donors. Upon receiving the call, Angshuman Roy and his team along with Shri Tanmay Mallick, T. Yagambaram, Shri R Rakesh and many others came forward to donate blood.

Public Transport Busses, Gyms & Yoga Institutes, Religious Places Allowed to Open
Port Blair, July 13: Lockdown in South Andaman District will continue from 14th July 2021 to 20th July 2021 with restrictions in movement after 6.00 pm. Considering the declining number of Corona cases in the District, the District Magistrate, South Andaman, Shri Suneel Anchipaka in an Order issued today has relaxed few more restrictions for the convenience of the general public at large.

Port Blair, July 13: All India Radio Port Blair in association with Port Blair Municipal Council is introducing a new LIVE phone-in programme titled ‘Sapnon ka Shahar – Port Blair Nagar’. It will be broadcast on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. The first episode of this programme will be broadcast on 14th July 2021(Wednesday) from 0715hrs to 0745hrs.
