Port Blair, July 11: Lieutenant General Ajai Singh, AVSM, Commander-in-Chief Andaman and Nicobar Command (CINCAN) visited MARCOS (PB) to review the level of preparedness. During his visit the MARCOS displayed their professional skills in all three dimensions (Sea, Air & Land) to reach and counter any emergent situation in the entire span of the island chain. The CINCAN put his hands on few of the capability enhancers such as the LSV (Light Strike Vehicle) and the variety of sniper/assault weapons.

Port Blair, July 11: Lieutenant General Ajai Singh, AVSM, Commander-in-Chief Andaman and Nicobar Command (CINCAN) visited Naval Transmitting Station, Teylerabad on 09 Jul 2021. He reviewed the operational preparedness of the unit and interacted with officers and men serving in NTS, Teylerabad. He appreciated the commitment and professionalism of the unit to provide seamless communication services to various platforms. He was also apprised on the progress of various vital communication projects being executed in NTS to improve operational and functional efficiency of Andaman and Nicobar Command. During interaction with the men, he motivated and encouraged them to continue performing to best of their abilities. He also commended all ranks for utmost devotion towards their duties.

In the same context, Coastal Green Zone celebrated "Van Mahotsav 2021" along with Middle Andaman Forest Division, Rangat Range on 9th July 2021, with great energy and enthusiasm near Sabri Junction forest area.

Diglipur, July 11: Based on the local information, the team of PS Diglipur conducted raid in Navin Nagar and recoved more than 80 liters of Handia. A person named Lokiram, from whom the recovery was done, has been booked for the violation of the provisions of Excise Regulation.

As many as 150 Red Cross Printed Face Mask, Soaps, Sarees and 150 Ars alb 30 Homoeo Immune Booster Medicine were distributed amongst the most economically depressed windows and other economically suffered women during the Covid Pandemic.
