Port Blair, June 25: The Union government and the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) informed the Supreme Court on Thursday that the remaining exams for classes 10 and 12, scheduled between July 1 and 15, have been cancelled due to concern for the safety of students amid the pandemic.

Traffic Police Warns Vehicle Owners and Seeks Support of General Public in Reporting Violations
Port Blair, June 25: It has been noticed that few vehicle owners are indulged in alteration/modification of their vehicles. As per section 52 of Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Act, 2019, no owner of a motor vehicle shall so alter the vehicle that the particulars contained in the certificate of registration are at variance with those originally specified by the manufacturer.

Narendra Kumar, Election Commissioner, Election Commission for UT’s, New Delhi to extend the time/period for inclusion/deletion/correction/ transposition of Electoral Roll which was actually scheduled to be done within 30/06/2020 for at least 15 Days more considering COVID-19 and subsequent lockdown, due to which procedures to complete the requisite information coudn’t be completed so far.
