Port Blair, Dec. 23: Police Training School, Prothrapur conducted a 15 days Self Defence Training for the students of GSS School Bathubasti. The program concluded with a demonstration function held on 23/12/2022 in which Shri Sanjay Kumar Jain, IPS, IGP(L&O) presided over as the Chief Guest of the function in presence of Shri S. Suresh Kumar, Principal, GSSS B/Basti, Shri M.K Shukla, Vice Principal (PTS) A&N Police and other teachers & students of the School.

Port Blair, Dec. 23: In view of the manifold increase in the vehicular traffic in the route between Chatham and Bambooflat, the Directorate of Shipping Services has decided to impose restriction on the movement/ transportation of commercial vehicles, through the vehicle ferry vessels operating in the above route, during the peak hours i.e. between 7.30 am to 9.45 am and from 5 pm to 6.45 pm on all working days except Holidays.

As part of the weeklong celebration, the Department of CS & CA, A & N Administration has conducted various programmes to create awareness on Consumer Protection Act, 2019 amongst the consumers of these Islands.

Port Blair, Dec. 23: Applications have been invited from interested entrepreneurs/firms/ individuals for allotment of Food/General stalls during Island Tourism Festival-2022-23 which is likely to be held from 14 to 23 January, 2023 for 10 days at ITF Ground. The stall will be allotted to the selected applicants on lottery system as per the terms and condition laid down in the application form.
