Port Blair, Jan. 18: In view of the Republic Day Celebration on 26.01.2023, the movement of all Island Tourist Vessels operating from Aberdeen Jetty (RGWSC) to various tourist spot will be diverted as per details below:
24.01.2023: Full Dress Rehearsal for Republic Day Programme on 26.01.2023 - All vessels to be shifted to Junglighat on 23.01.2023 by 1700 hrs and operate from Junglighat to North Bay.

Port Blair, Jan. 18: Under National TB Elimination programme (NTEP) the State TB Unit, Port Blair organized awareness programmes on TB & Community Support to TB Patients-Ni-kshay Mitra (Donor) under Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan at Govt. Senior. Secondary School, Bhatubasti, Govt. Senior Secondary School, Garacharma and Govt. Middle School, Wandoor with the objective to provide additional nutrition support to TB patient and augment community involvement to eliminate TB by 2025.

Port Blair, Jan. 18: The District Legal Services Authority, Andaman & Nicobar Islands will be holding National Lok Adalat in the District Court Complex at Port Blair and Sub-Divisional Court Complex at Mayabunder and Circuit Court at Diglipur on Feb.11 by adopting all COVID SOP issued by the MHA from time to time. Besides the compoundable nature of cases pending in different courts, disputes at the pre-litigation stage will also be entertained by the National Lok Adalat for disposal upon consensual settlement between the parties. Pre-litigation disputes include NI Act cases u/s 138, money recovery cases, labour dispute cases, electricity and water bills cases (excluding non-compoundable), maintenance cases Civil disputes and disputes under the Consumer Protection Act.

Port Blair, Jan. 18: Due to Administrative reasons, the promulgated sailing programme of MV Bharat Seema from Port Blair to Car Nicobar via Little Andaman on Jan. 21, 2023 has been preponed. Now, the vessel will sail for Car Nicobar via Little Andaman on 20.01.2023 at 0700 hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 21.01.2023 at 1600 hrs from Car Nicobar via Little Andaman. Passenger tickets for the above sailing will be issued to the general public from Jan.19, 2023 onwards at STARS Ticketing Counters.
