Port Blair, Sept. 14: Islands 'TANG SOO DO' (KOREAN KARATE) teams participated in 1st VIRTUAL ITO ASIAN TANG SOO DO CHAMPIONSHIP 2020 scheduled on 29th and 30th August 2020 under the Guidance of Coach Master M.D. Selvam. From India, 54 students were selected for and out of them, one of the participant is Kulvinder Kaur Randhawa who won Gold in Under-18 Girls Junior category in the weapon event, which is 'Bong Hyung Cho Dan'.

As many as five countries participated in this championship viz. India, Iran, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Morocco. Kulvinder was also awarded with a spirit award by the Asian Tang Soo Do Federation.

Being from Sikh Community, the Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi felicitated Miss Kulwinder Kaur Randhawa for bagging Gold in the Competition. The NGO presented her with a memento, merit certificate and a cash prize of Rs 1100/-.
