Port Blair, Oct. 18: On the occasion of ‘World Students Day’ on 15.10.2020, WITH YOU (NGO) distributed masks and pens to students of Govt. Senior Secondary school, Ferrargunj, Mannarghat and Govt. Secondary School Shoalbay. Ms V. K. Mariyam Bibi, President, WITH YOU, NGO interacted with the students studying in class 9, 10, 11, 12th and motivated them to work hard and to follow three thump rules i.e. wearing masks, hand washing & maintain social distancing to contain the spread of Covid 19.
She also informed the students about the role of Dr. A.P.J Abdul kalam, former President of India whose Birth Anniversary is celebrated as world students day on 15th October, as declared by United Nations.
Later in a simple function held at NGO office, about 50 guides/reference books, sample papers of various subjects of class 11th and 12th were distributed to the needy students studying in science stream in presence of Rtd Headmaster Mr. Mustafa and Retired Teacher, Christy. Both the teachers blessed the students and wished them a bright future ahead.
