Port Blair, Aug 28: In continuation to zero tolerance policy against any kind of crime, PS Pahargaon has once again cracked two theft cases and recovered the stolen motorcycles.

On 23/08/2023, based on the complaint of Shri. Charles Primeo S/o Chinnappan R/o Beodnabad Village, a case vide FIR No. 146/23 dated 23/08/2023 U/s 379 IPC was registered at PS Pahargaon and the investigation was entrusted to ASI Peter Indwar of PS Pahargaon regarding theft of a motorcycle make model Bajaj Pulsar 125 CC bearing registration number AN01 Q 2591.

A dedicated team of PS Pahargaon led by SI Manish Narayan, ASI Peter Indwar, IO of the case, PC/Jagdish Babu, PC/S S Yadav, PC/ Santosh Lall under supervision of K M Priyanka, IPS (P), SHO PS Pahargaon was constituted to find out the culprit. During the search, the stolen motorcycle was recovered and identified through its chassis number.

The recovered motorcycle was found to be without number plate and without other company markings. On further investigation, the accused was identified as Manish Narayan S/o Late Dharmender Narayan (23) yrs R/o Teylerabad. On interrogation, the accused revealed that he had stolen the motorcycle and had removed the number plate, company markings and some other parts of the bike.

He further revealed that he had stolen another vehicle bearing registration number AN01 J 0766 from Garacharma, for which, a case was already registered at PS Pahargaon. The stolen motorcycle bearing registration number AN01 J 0766 was also recovered from the house of the accused, but the motorcycle was found to have most of its parts removed by the accused.
