Port Blair, Sept. 12: A State Level Science Drama competition-2023 under BITM (Birla Industrial and Technological Museum) Kolkata was organized in collaboration with the Science Wing of Directorate of Education, A&N Administration in the Conference Hall of Govt. Sec. School, Junglighat yesterday. Shri Aditya Kumar Jha, Director (Education) was the chief guest on the occasion. The Dy. Director Education (Science), Shri M. Nehru welcomed the gathering. The Zonal Level winner participants from all the 09- Educational Zones of the UT performed Science Drama on the theme ‘Science & Technology for the benefit of Mankind’.
Altogether, 72 students and 18 escort teachers took part in this State level function. The students of Campbell Bay Educational Zone stood first in this competition and have been selected for Eastern India Science Drama competition 2023 to be held on 27th September, 2023 at BITM Kolkata. The Dy. Director of Education (Plg.), Shri R. K. Singh gave away the Trophies and certificates to the winners and participants at the valedictory session. Shri R. K. Pandey, Science Consultant proposed the vote of thanks on the occasion.
