Port Blair, Sept. 13: In today's interconnected world, where the internet plays an integral role in our daily lives, the importance of cyber awareness cannot be overstated. As today's students are digital natives, and they navigate an increasingly interconnected world, it is vital to equip them with the knowledge and skills to stay safe online. In response to the growing importance of digital literacy and online safety, the Cyber cell of A&N Police conducted a comprehensive Cyber Awareness Program at Sagritara Secondary School, Prem Nagar, aimed at educating and empowering the students in the digital age.

Some of the topics covered during the awareness class were: Social Media Safety, Fake Dating Apps, Password Security, Online Privacy, Online Gambling, Child pornography, Safe Online Shopping, email frauds, Identity Theft, Fake Loan Apps, Identifying Phishing Scams, Digital Etiquette, Cyberbullying etc. Approximately 300 students participated and benefitted from the awareness class.
