Kishorinagar, Sept. 18: A complaint was received at OP Kishorinagar regarding missing of a lady, D/o Late Bilas Minj, 23 yrs., R/o Srinagar from her local guardian on 13th Sept. 2023 at around 1100 hrs. The missing girl had reportedly left the house informing that she is going to PHC Kishorinagar to get some medicine for her back pain. Surprisingly she did not return home.

As soon as the information was received from the complainant, Smti Rajani Xaxa, W/o Shri Shanti Prakash Minj, 39 yrs., Housewife, R/o Srinagar (local guardian), a special team was constituted by the SHO Kalighat SI Silpi Singha. The team comprised of ASI B.S. Halder, HC V. Saji Kumar, PC Subroto Biswas, LPC Sunita. The special team under the command of the SHO made exhaustive efforts to trace the lady by interacting with villagers, neighbours and relatives. Since the missing girl was not carrying a mobile phone, technical surveillance through Mobile phone was not possible. However, Signals were sent to all PS to gather information about the missing lady.

The team made strenuous efforts by working on the ground and successfully traced the missing girl from Subhashgram village of Diglipur. The statement of the girl was recorded in which she stated that she had lost her parents in her childhood and was under the care of her local guardian at Srinagar. She had left her house on 13th Sept. and without informing anyone went to Diglipur in search of work.

The dedication and hard work exhibited by the team of PS Kalighat in tracing the missing lady was appreciated by the family members and villagers.
