Port Blair, Sept. 19: A Health Mela was organized at CHC Diglipur under Ayushman Bhavah Campaign on 17th Sept. 2023. The Mela was inaugurated by Pramukh, Diglipur, Shri Dipankar Mistry in the presence of other PRI Members. Dr. Shipra Mistry, GDMO (Ayurveda) welcomed the gathering while Dr. HM Siddaraju, CMO, CHC, Diglipur explained about the services that will beprovided during Seva Pakwada campaign which started from Sept.17 and will continue upto Oct. 2, 2023. During this campaign, Ayushman Aapke Dwaar, ABHA ID Generation, Ayushman Bharat Card Distribution will be done.
During Ayushman Mela, NCD screening, TB Screening, OPD services will also be provided to the general public. In the Health Mela conducted yeaterday, NCD Screening, TB Screening, Dental, AYUSH and Yoga services were provided. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest, Shri Dipankar Mistry emphasized on the importance of Ayushman Bharat Jan Aarogya Yojana,in providing health care services to economically poor and vulnerable
population. The PRI members were requested to provide wide publicity of Ayushman Bharat scheme among villagers. The programme was attended by the staff, AWWs, ASHAs and villagers.
