Port Blair, Sept. 25: A Free Health Screening Camp was organized by Armed Police Unit, Andaman & Nicobar Police at Police Lines, Drill Hall, South Andaman on 23.09.2023, in association with MGM Health Care, Chennai. This initiative reaffirms the A&N Police’s unyielding commitment to the well-being and health of the community members and underscores our dedication to nurturing a healthier society.

The Free Health Camp, tailored specifically for the benefit of Police personnel and their families, aimed to provide essential healthcare services and promote health awareness within the community. The event saw the active participation of around 500 Police personnel and their families, who had the unique opportunity to interact with healthcare experts and gain valuable insights into maintaining a healthy lifestyle

In collaboration with a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including Dr. Karunakaran S, Director and Senior Consultant in the Department of Spine Surgery, Dr. Vijaya Kumar Sohanlal, Senior Consultant in Orthopaedics, and Dr. Cherin Josi Champannoor, Consultant in the Department of Nephrology a comprehensive medical services were offered to the participants. The dedicated healthcare experts generously volunteered their time and expertise to ensure the success of this event.

The A&N Police Department has expressed its heartfelt appreciation to all the healthcare professionals, volunteers, and sponsors who made this event possible.
