Port Blair, Sept. 27: The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kudleep Rai Sharma graced the World Tourism Day celebrations at Veer Savarkar International Airport (VSI) today. The event was organized by the Tourism Association of Andaman & Nicobar (TAAN) in collaboration with various stakeholders to commemorate the significance of tourism in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

World Tourism Day, celebrated annually on September 27th, provides an opportunity to highlight the immense contribution of tourism to the local economy, culture, and environment of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

During the program, the Member of Parliament recognized the vital role played by airlines operating in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands in promoting tourism and connectivity. He presented tokens of appreciation and certificates of commendation to the dedicated staff members of all airlines operating in the region.

In response to this recognition, the airlines' representatives expressed their gratitude and reiterated their commitment to providing world-class services to the Islanders and tourists.
