Port Blair, Oct. 5: Under the Central Sector Scheme - Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) eligible farmer families receive financial benefits of Rs. 6000/- per year which is payable in 3 equal installments of Rs. 2000/- each, every four months. Till now, 14 Installments have been released directly to the bank accounts of the PM- KISAN beneficiaries by the GoI. The Govt. of India has made the following mandatory requirement which is to be completed before the release of 15th Installment (period August – November) viz. e-KYC is completed, Land details is entered in PM-KISAN portal and Bank account is seeded with Aadhaar.
It is therefore requested to all eligible PM-KISAN beneficiaries who have so far not done their land seeding, e-KYC and Bank Account seeding with Aadhaar to complete the process before 15th October 2023.
For any query/doubt related to land seeding, Bank Account seeding & e-KYC, the beneficiaries can also contact the concerned Zonal Agriculture Office/ Field Extension functionaries of Agriculture Department.
The farmers have been advised to use only the official website of PM-KISAN portal & PM-KISAN app and not to download any other App for e-KYC authentication.
